Five Months Later: Today was Mia’s big day. It was the day that she had been waiting on forever, and we were all ready to help be a part of it. Despite wearing a dress, I was more than happy to be here for my best friend. I’ve spent the last five months helping Mia plan everything to keep my mind off of other things, and it seemed to work. I had no idea what I would do now that it was over. There were a few things that I was slightly nervous about today. I haven’t spoken to Joel in months, not since the night of the fair. I was too stubborn to reach out to him and apologize, and he was all about making me suffer for what I did. I had a feeling that even if I did apologize to him, he wouldn’t want to hear it. After Joel walked out of my life, I soon realized that I
