CHAPTER 9 ISABELLE We don’t bother finding a place to stay once we land—we’ll sleep in shifts on the road if it becomes necessary. All that matters is Juliette. We got here as fast as we could, but I can’t help feeling that we’re already too late to save her. Rooster feels the same, I can tell. His big hands haven’t stopped moving in days.
