Clara was lovely and did everything possible to make me feel comfortable. I was careful and polite in my responses, much like how I interacted with people at school. I liked Clara, and she was easy to be around. Felix wasn't incorrect in his description of Clara. She really was sunshine personified!
We had fun shopping and eating supper at a diner. I noticed that there were no chain restaurants or stores in the area. The shops and dining establishments were all small in size and unique. It was almost as though it were an urban village, not just a small group of people who lived in the same area. I couldn't fathom how this place could exist without people knowing about it. It didn't make sense to me.
