"Stella! Wait!" I yell out to my mate. I was not expecting her to talk back to my Mom. I'm very proud of her. She shouldn't just sit there and take it. If Mom can't take it then she shouldn't dish it out. "What!? What do you want? I just want to be alone!" Stella yells at me as she continues to walk away.
"Hey, I didn't do anything so why are you mad at me?" I ask. Did something else happen to cause her outburst? Stella stops in her tracks. I catch up to her. "I'm not mad at you. Why can't I be alone?" She asks.
