9. Empty Apartment

I closed my eyes and rubbed them for a little while until I look at Penny, she was smiling holding her sandwich and before she said it, I knew what she was going to say. 

“We are going shopping so go change” she said.

I arched my eyebrow at her and her face falls.

“Right” she said while standing up because she forgot she needed to help me get dressed. We decided on putting me in a white one strap shirt and velvet black leggings and when I say we, I mean Penny. 

We walk to her car and the fresh air hits my lungs, I keep down a cough but before we go into the car me and Penny have one smoke. Sigrid hates that Penny smokes but she does not want to take up that fight since it almost broke them up in the beginning. Penny is talking about which mall she want to go to since there are three close by but they all have different stores that she likes. I just let her choose were we are going since she is the one driving and the one that would most likely have the most fun out of this. 

Why were Ian all of a sudden having a party? Were we crashing a private party? 

The questions were running around in my head and I just could not stop thinking about what all this means and what is happening with him. I could feel it though that someone was following us, Penny did not notice but I could feel the stare burning me. I tried to find the eyes that were following us but maybe it was just my imagination.

“Stella what about this?” Penny asks while coming out of the dressing room. 

She is wearing a jumpsuit that compliments her boobs too much.

“Sigrid might not let you out of the house in this” I say smirking. 

She turns and twists in the mirror, thinking about Sigrid but then sighing and going back into the dressing room. 

“I know that she is working so much on everything and has a lot of projects to finish but is a date night so much to ask?”

We are in the car driving home after buying me a new shiny pants and some make up for Penny, Penny is very talented when it comes to make up so she has like a hole table for it. 

“No of course not but then again have you talked to her about wanting a date night or are you just waiting for her to take you out?” I ask because Penny sometimes thinks that people can read her mind.

“Yes I talked to her about it last time we were out working on that stupid boat that wont start even though we have tried everything to fix it” 

“Okey then you just need to take her out on a date and take the lead girl” I said happily. 

When we arrived home she just dropped me off because she has to go home to make dinner, that is a big thing in there home to always eat at home and have that alone time. I imagine that would be something I would like to ask my husband as well. When I walked in, I could just feel the emptiness of the place, there was something missing. I have never been lonely because I have always been enough for myself but now I could just feel the emptiness of my apartment. I just walk straight outside to the balcony and when I am lighting up my cigarette I see him, there in a car is a guy with sunglasses looking straight at me. I just hold the eye contact but he just looks away and picks up his phone and light up the screen. I just stare at him while I finish up, daring him to look at me again but he never does or maybe he does but I can't see because of his sunglasses. 

My phone beeps. 

Did you buy anything?

I lift up my eyebrows, how did he know I went to the mall?

You know stalking is a crime

I don't get anything back right away so I just make my way to the kitchen and make myself a grilled sandwich with ham and cheese. I take my meds and go to the couch, with my hand full of stuff but I have to make two trips since I am lazy and I know I will want some of this later tonight. I flipped through the channels but the silence was killing me so I just put on the next thing I recognise. Dr. Phil starts and is about some mother that is being scammed out of her money, I always feel bad for those people since they really just love to have someone to give them attention. My phone beeps again. 

I am coming over again tonight

I just look at the screen shocked, how about asking mister? 

What if I was having someone else over?

I send back but I kinda regret it as soon as I send it, but it's gone and he cant think that he can just waltz in here and I just take it. I was kind of getting mad he was not sending anything back and that he was just ignoring me. 

Then I hear a knock on the door and I jump up scared because Penny and Ana have keys and I was not expecting anybody. I walk slowly to the door and peeped through the hole and there he is looking mad as hell like almost always, does he ever smile? 

“Open the door Stella! I mean it!” I hear him kind of roar. 

I try to fiddle with the door but I cant open the lock and open the door handle at the same time with my arm strapped around me like this. 

“Use the handle” I say while I open the other. 

The door bursts open and I fumble back but before I landed straight on my ass his arms are around my waist but not touching any bear skin. His hand was so hot that I could feel him through my shirt. He is looking me straight in the face.

“Are you alone here?” he asks.

“Yes” I said while looking at his lips. 

“Good” he says before he crashes his lips onto mine and my world goes spinning. 

His lips are so pushing and demanding but just like this morning I just take control and make the kisses deeper but shorter. I kiss him lightly and seductively, it's a good thing that he is still holding me because my legs were turning into jelly when all my focus was on his lips.
