AERILYN'S POV -- Blaze is visibly upset, and it's baffling to see him like this, because I've known him as a nonchalant person, the one who never gave a s**t about anything, and here he sits, face in his eyes, rocking back and forth like his life just blew up, and it's terrifying to know he's scared, because I am too. "Blaze," I breathe out his name, my voice shaky as I try to wrap my mind around what just happened. "Don't," he sighs, dropping his hands, and his arms are stretched over his hiked up knees. "What are we going to do?" I ask desperately. I'm expecting him to blame me, but his tired gaze travels over to me, and once our eyes lock, it's like my breath is taken away.
