"Wha...what is it?" Nora asked.
James pushed his way inside. "I need to talk to you," he said.
"About what? You said everything you had to say at school, so what else is left to say?" Nora said. She felt nervous. Her mom won't be home soon, so that means she has to be alone with him for a few hours. For some reason, that scared her.
"Let's go to your room," he grabbed her hand and pulled her away. "Where is it? Upstairs?"
"Why? I don't want to!" Nora cried.
"Why not? Does being alone with me make you nervous?" he smirked.
At first, she was just nervous. But now, she is terrified. She knew how ruthless James was. Who knows what he planned to do to her?
"Yes, it does! You are scaring me," she said.
"Take me to your room, or I will carry you upstairs," James threatened.
"Okay, fine!"
