I take a deep breath before knocking softly on Gabriel’s office door. “Come in.” I hear him call out before my hand slowly turns the knob. Gabriel’s standing over his desk, glaring down at his computer screen, looking like the last thing he needs is to be interrupted. This is basically how he’s looked twenty four seven for the past week. It started the day I went to get my dress, when he hung up on the guy on the phone, and since then it’s only gotten worse. He’s even stopped eating lunch with me, which I understand because I know he’s got a big job to do as Alpha, but I can’t help my feelings being a bit hurt about it. He didn’t even let me know, he just skipped and I found out later that night that he wouldn’t be able to join me anymore. “Gabriel?” I say softly, trying not to
