“Guess what, Joseph.” I say, barely able to contain my excitement. He raises an unamused eyebrow in my direction. Apparently spending an extended amount of time with me has gotten him in an even worse mood than he normally is in. “Gabriel is going to be here today!” I tell him, trying not to scream. Without even bothering to acknowledge what I’ve said, Joseph turns around and walks around, leaving me standing in the hallway all by myself. I frown, but it doesn’t last long.
