Chapter 19

PARALLEL HEATHER’s POV

I freaking don’t know how to handle this btch. She's been calling me for every f*****g hour just to make sure that I will make sulpot in our meeting place. I wonder if she is also like this to Heather. Paano natiis ni Heather ang magkaroon ng kaibigan ganito? Seemed like you don’t have your own privacy. 

Buti na lang talaga hindi ko siya naging kaibigan. Pero nakakainis lang kasi pati ba naman dito, ayaw niya akong tantanan. This is so irritating. Baka sa susunod na buhay niya 'e siya na papalit kay jollibee sa sobrang pabida! 'E hindi naman siya 'yong bida! 

"b***h! I'll go!" I irritatedly answered and hanged up the phone. Sinagot ko na tawag niya dahil kanina pa siya tumatawag kahit na nasa banyo ako, tumatae. 

I don't know what she wants. Kaya pupuntahan ko talaga ang bruhang 'yon nang magtigil na siya sa pagiging bwesit sa buhay ko! Like for real! Sobrang pangit ng araw ko ngayon! Kasing pangit niya. 

Well, she is the only one who can ruin my day like this.

About what happened to our date, I will let it pass since medyo nakabawi naman siya kahit papaano. He took care of me. He cooked me food. At kahit na wala pang nangyari na gano’n, I still can't get mad at him. Iniisip ko pa lang kasi na mas napapalapit na kaming dalawa, that is enough reason for me to stay her and have more patience dealing with him. 

I just don't understand the part lang na he likes Heather— I mean, me. He likes me yet he doesn't do any moves to court me.

What's stopping him ba? Is this because he doesn't want to ruin our friendship? If that so. Then, he's wrong. I am not the Heather he likes, kaya ako na magsasabi bukas.

I carefully put my phone on the sink and took the bidet off on the wall. I then used it and washed my a*s. I reached the black soap on my side stall cabinet, the lemony scent of the soap filled my nostrils as I used it. God, why do soap smells so good. 

When I'm done doing my thing, I took all of my clothes and threw it on the floor. I entered the shower area and did my half bath again because I want it so. I just wear a big shirt of hers and a pajama. I'm just gonna go outside near of my house lang naman, and it's evening, no one will see me like this. 

I bun my hair and worn my b*a. Sinuot ko na ang tsinelas ko at binuksan ang pinto. I went to my dad’s room first to check if he is already here, pero nang kumatok ako at binuksan, walang tao. Naalala ko rin sinabi ni Logan na 12 midnight pa pala siya uuwi. 

Bumaba na ako sa hagdan. Dumaan muna ako sa kusina at pinaghandaan ng plato para kay daddy. I put some rice on the plate, at kaunting ulam na adobo sa gilid. I prepared water on the side. Baka kasi mamaya at 

Dumiretso na kaagad ako sa labas at inilawan ang daan gamit phone ko. 

Fuck this b***h talaga. Ano ba kailangan nito at bakit sa ganitong oras pa gustong makipagkita. Nababaliw na talaga ata 'to. Ay hindi, she's already crazy! 

Imagine, calling someone at 10 evening.

Speaking of the b***h, she called again.

"I'm coming!" I shouted right away as I picked it up. 

"Wow! That's goo— *toooot*"

Shut up, ugly duckling. 

Sa 'di makalayoan ay naaninag ko na siya. Mas lalo kong binilisan lakad ko at nang nasa harap ko na siya ay huminto na ako. 

"What now?" I irritatedly asked again. Nakakairita talaga. Mas lalo akong na bwesit nang ngumiti ito. 

"I just wanna have fun." I made a fake laugh.

"Have fun? Really? You disturbed my peace for this freaking game?! Are you out of your mind? Are you even thinking?!” Hindi ko makapaniwalang tanong dahil nakakaputang ina. Akala ko kung ano na importante ang sasabihin niya na kailangan talaga namin magkita sa personal, but this?! f**k. 

This is insane.

“Why? You’ve been so mean lately, so I think maybe you are stress. Para kasing hindi ko na nama-manage pagiging mabait mo ‘e, should I turn you into your old self again? O hindi na because you’ve changed already.”

Kumunot noo ko. “What are you talking about?” 

Humalakhak ito. She walked a little and acted like she was in a street game where she stepped her one foot only and jumped into the other side. 

“Let’s play! Let’s have fun!” Tawang-tawa nitong sabi. 

I rolled my eyes because of annoyance.

“Tinanong mo ba ako kung gusto kong makipag have fun kasama ka? b***h, we're not close." Nagulat ito sa sinabi ko kaya napatikom ko bigla bibig ko.

Fuck! I forgot. Argh! Bakit kasi napakabwesit niyang tao?! Pinanganak lang ba ‘to para bwesitin ako?

Ngunit napalitan naman ito kaagad ng nakakalokong ngiti.

"Well, we want to." Kumunot noo ko. 

"We? With whom?" Ramdam ko na may biglang sumulpot sa likoran ko. 

Kaagad akong napaharap at nakita ko si Charleigh at isang lalaki. Before I could even reacted, a fist from the man welcomed me first. 

Bigla na lang humilo paningin ko, and the next thing I knew, I fell on the ground.

I woke up because of the loud slammed of the door. I groaned as I felt my eyes flickered in pain. s**t, this really hurt so bad. 

Even though I couldn't open my left eye too wide, I still tried. I'm gonna kill the people behind this bullshit!

My eyes flickered on and off because of the stress in it. Argh! I badly wanted to put an ice on this! Ang sakit! Alam kong namamaga ito. Damn it! 

But anyway, even though my left eye couldn’t open it too wide as my right eye, I still managed to look around and know my surroundings.

I know that I am not in my house when I looked around and saw some unfamiliar stuff. I'm in the room of a hotel or condominium unit, I must say. The warm light, well-built expensive furnitures, and a comfortable bed just like this. I touched the mandaue foam and punched it with both hands. I’ve been in a lot of hotels because of my career so I must really say that I am in this kind of place. 

But the question is— 

Argh! Who the f**k did this to me?!!

They are gonna pay for this!!

My feet and hands are all tied. I wonder why they kidnapped me. But, I appreciate that they brought me here in this kind of place though. Hindi ko deserve ang bodega o sirang old buildings. Dito nararapat beauty ko, sa aircon nang hindi ako mahaggard kakasigaw. In case, you know.

Tinignan ko ang kabuuang kwarto at nakita mga litrato ng isang pamilyar na babae. Maybe it is Olivia when in her young age. Similar to her face kasi and she was the only last one I interacted with. Hindi ko lang matandaan ‘yong kasama niya.

I explored the room by my eyes. The color scheme of it is a nude brown. Lahat ng kulay ay brown and white, kahit na ang kurtina nito. If I will choose to stay here for the rest of my life, I can stay. Olivia has a great taste, I judge. 

Narinig ko ang pagbukas ng pinto sa labas at tawanan ng dalawang babae. I heard their footsteps walking towards in my place. Ilang segundo pa lamang ay bumukas na ang pinto ng kwarto at napatingin ako sa kanila. 

They were shock upon seeing me sitting calmly in bed. Mas magugulat pa rin sana sila kung nagpunta na ako ng kusina at magkape. Kaso may tali kamay at paa ko 'e, kaya upo na lang magagawa ko. ‘Yong mata ko ay nadidilat ko naman at medyo kumikirot lamang. Kapag ito talaga magkaroon ako ng blackeye, kakalbohin ko sila. 

"Oh, so you're awake?" Olivia greeted me with a big smile on her face. 

She came nearer towards me. 

"Masakit ba ang pagkasuntok?" Then she laughed so hard that she even glanced at Charleigh while pointing my eyes. 

Mukha siyang timang.

"Ano! Sumagot ka!" She added.

Hindi lang siya tanga, bobo rin. Paano ako makakasagot 'e may tape bibig ko?! Gosh, what a stupid female dog.

I rolled my eyes at her. Kunin mo lang 'to b***h, masasampolan kita ng trashtalk.

She covered her mouth and acted like she was surprised. "Oh, kaya pala kasi may tape bibig mo, sareh, my bad," then she laughed so hard again. 

I looked at Charleigh who was laughing also. Napaaray ako sa sakit nang biglaan niyang kinuha ang tape sa bibig ko.

"f**k you!" I muttered as she took it. 

Tangina, mukhang madadala rin bunganga ko. 

Tumawa sila nang napakalakas pero tinignan ko lamang ito hanggang sa nagsitahimik na. Ano kaya pumasok sa utak nila bakit nagagawi nila ‘to? Really? What did Heather do para gawin nila ‘to kay Heather? 

"Hindi ka sisigaw? Hindi ka hihingi ng tulog? Hindi ka magmamakaawa? Kinidnap ka namin!" Charleigh yelled at me. 

Damn, kung ganito lang din naman kasi kaganda ang lugar na mags-stay ako for how many f*****g days, I would be glad staying here then. Saka, why would I be scared? For real? Hindi ako natatakot sa kanila. Why? Because they can't kill me. They are too weak to do that. So if they think they can scare me by doing this, f**k them. This case is so overrated. Babae lang sila. Kaya kong sabutan mga buhok nila kahit pa bulbol. Yak.  

I looked at them, especially to Olivia, straight to the eyes.

"Tell me what do you want so I can get out," I delivered calmly.

"You, to be ruined."

"For what?" I don't understand.

"For me and her. For Logan and Asher!" 

At dito, hindi ko napigilan sarili ko tumawa nang napakalas. Really? How desperate they are! Gusto ko talaga ipakita kung gaano ako nanggigigil but I don't wanna let them see this side of mine, because they will win and I will never let that happen. Neknek nila, asa sila!

"You sound so desperate, huh?" I smirked.

"They won't like the both of you kasi pareho kayong chaka— fvck!" I glared at them when they slapped me both.

Damn it! Hindi alam ng ulo ko kung saan haharap dahil magkabilang pisnge pa ang kanilang sinampal. f**k it! Kapag ako lang talaga nakawala rito patay sa akin ang dalawa 'to! Pasalamat talaga sila nakatali ako rito! Nakakagil!

"How dare you call us ugly!" 

"Because that's the truth!" Aw! 

Sinampal niya ulit ako. Putangina, sige lang, makakawala rin ako rito at kakalbohin ko sila isa't-isa!

"Let's go Olivia! Let's gonna find more about her, para wala na siya talaga kawala." 

"Yes! The evidence that she is not the Heather!"

Natawa na lang din ako nang nagsitangoay silang dalawa at lumabas ng kwarto. The fvck, they looked like a clown. Para rin silang tanga. Kikidnap-in ako but doesn't have enough evidence to fight for me? The fact that they need to find more information pa habang nandito ako. Shet, they are so crazy. Ano ‘to, tago-tagoan? Bahay-bahayan? 

THIS IS SO FUN. Grabe, never have I thought that I will be kidnapped by KIDS, literally. 

Nagsama pa talaga silang dalawa. 

Pero itong si Olivia, hindi na ako magtataka kung bakit niya sinabi na I am not Heather, o nagdududa siya. As far as I remembered, siya 'yong kauna-unahang babaeng lumapit sa akin noong first day ko rito sa Earth, and I treated her so back that day because I didn't know. Thus, I think  she doubted me since that day. Hindi ko naman alam na ganito pala kabilis ang pagdududa niya at nakahanap pa siya ng kakampi. 

Crazy, Olivia. 

Nagugutom na ako at hindi pa nila ako pinapakain. Hindi ko namalayan na nakatulog pala ako at nagising na lang sa kulabong nila.

"I told you, she is not the real Heather!" Rinig kong sigaw ni Olivia at tumakbo papunta sa akin.

She shrugged me off that made my eyes wide opened. 

"Who are you?! Sino ka?! Dalawa kayong Heather, hindi ba? ANSWER ME!!" Nanggigil niyang tanong. 

Kumunot noo ko para mas lalo siyang mabaliw. Kung ganito lang naman gusto niya edi sabayan natin siya sa paglalaro. 

"What are you talking about?" I asked innocently.

"That!! The way you speak talaga! You are not the Heather I know! Saka parang nakita kita kanina pumasok sa bahay niyo, 'e nandito ka naman!!" Hysterical niyang wika at tumingin kay Charleigh na tahimik lang pero alam kong nagtataka rin ito.

"Right Charleigh? Aminin mo na kasing nakita mo rin siya noong dumaan tayo sa kanila."

"I didn't see her but I believe in you, okay?" 

Humalaklak ako nang malakas kaya napatingin sila sa akin.

"Nababaliw na kayo." 

Tama, ito ang gusto kong palabasin. That they are crazy. Hindi ako pwedeng umamin na dalawa kami, dahil una-una magagalit si Logan sa akin, which I won't like the idea of it. Pangalawa, I know Heather will find me. Kahit maikli lang ang aming pagsasama ay nakitaan ko ng bait si Heather. She's going to save me and I know that. 

Kaya siguro hindi ko magawang kabahan dahil sila lang naman pala ang kumidnap sa akin. Kahit nga hindi ako masalba ni Heather, kayang-kaya ko sila takasan. They are as easy as pie. 

"Anong tinatawa mo riyan? Hindi kami baliw!" Iritableng tanong ni Olivia. 

"Nababaliw na kayo," pag-uulit ko. 

"Hindi ka aamin?!" Ramdam ko ang pag-vibrate ng buong mukha ko nang sinampal nila ulit ako. 

I remained calm despite of it.

"Tell us!!" 

Pero hindi pa rin ako nagsalita para mas lalo silang mainis. 

Napagod na ata sila kakapa-amin sa akin at huminto na. 

"Remember this! We will look for another Heather and face the both of you!" Olivia said and they turned their back at me.

Napangiti na lang ako. 

Kung mahahanap niyo. 

Mababaliw kayo kakaisip tungkol sa amin.
