*MAXINE’s POV*
Once I have entered the princess’ bed chambers, I locked the door and went straight to the mirror and saw Princess Zarah focused on sketching or writing something in her notebook that’s why she didn't notice me entering her room. I bend forward and leaned my hands on my knees as I try to peek at what she’s doing but I couldn't see anything.
“Hey, princess, ” I suddenly greeted her.
“Aaah!” Princess Zarah screamed and throws her hands upwards as the pen in her right hand got thrown somewhere inside the mirror.
“Hahahahaha did I surprise you?” I burst out laughing at her shocked expression.
“That’s not funny!” Princess Zarah complained and glared at me before putting down the notebook on the floor and crawled on her knees to get the pen.
