Xavier guided me into my room through a secret door in the bathroom. He held the door and looked into my eyes.
"Be careful." He muttered and leaned forward, planting a soft kiss on my lips. I smiled brightly and ambled toward the main door. I peeked outside through the keyhole. There was no one in the living room, but there were sounds of thudding footsteps. I looked back to see that Xavier had already shut the door and was gone. I strolled into the moonlit living room at a fast pace and jumped on the bed. I dragged the duvet up my body and pretended to be asleep.
