Chapter 5
Quinn didn’t get a chance to go to the restaurant where Dawson had worked until Wednesday. Tuesday, he and Brent had more than enough to keep them busy with ongoing cases. As Brent put it, “We do need to earn our bread and butter and we can’t justify you taking the time today to talk to Dawson’s co-workers, since we’re not being paid for you to do it.”
That was because they had come to the decision it wasn’t fair, or honorable, to keep charging Mrs. Taylor for their services. “We might come up with something that will lead us to Andrew’s whereabouts,” Brent told her. “If we do, then we’ll bill you. For now, we’ll consider things are in hiatus.”
Early Wednesday afternoon, however, things slowed down enough for Quinn to spend a couple of hours talking to the restaurant employees
