A ringing sound broke through the fitting room, interrupting the two of them. Julian looked at the phone in annoyance, hating to be interrupted. As for Winter, it was a welcome distraction. Her body was so spent she just wanted to curl up against Julian and fall asleep. Julian reached for the handset and received the call. “Hello?” “Hello, Mr Winthrop. I’ve just checked the garments and realised that I misplaced the clothes arranged by Mrs Winthrop.
