If I hadn’t known everything I knew at this point, I would have been scared. They were awesome. All eleven were facing me, their eyes on mine. I couldn’t say which of them was the most beautiful, the most intimidating. Their shimmering colours shone with the reflections of the flames, they all had different fur, sometimes light or dark, shaggy or smooth, coloured or plain.
