Running up to the pack house I could see that there was about 10 vampires currently fighting against the pack. Most of the pack had shifted and a few stayed human so they could help with weapons. It was a smart move, and I was proud of them. Both Beta’s were fighting together with one human and one as a wolf taking on two vampires on their own. I saw a few others I knew in both forms and they were doing great. I was thankful they had gotten the elders, females who aren’t ready to fight, and children into the safe housing.
My hackles rose and it's like I could feel this other presence somewhere close by but I couldn't see them. I asked blue and she didn't have any clue. She mentioned she felt some kind of bad energy around the vampires so it was maybe a witch using her powers to help them
