I waited anxiously in Desmond's room, hoping he would gain consciousness. I watched as the doctor continued monitoring Desmond's vital signs. The atmosphere was heavy with tension as the doctor continued trying his best to revive him.
The doctor called for the medical team, and the team scrambled and tried to stabilize him. Panic set in as the situation took an unexpected turn. “Code blue! We need assistance here!” the doctor said over the phone as the nurse withdrew the phone and continued reviving Desmond.
