Elizabeth woke when she smelled coffee. For a moment, she didn't know where she was, but when she sat up and stretched, it all came back to her. She was on the thin pad that she and Caroline had slept on last night, after they'd made a sort of nest out of the sheets and blankets Ron had given them. She'd been woken up at some time during the night when Caroline began kissing and fondling her. Ron had left them both unfettered and uncollared, so they were free to do anything they wanted.
