{Victoria}
"Dad, trust me, I'll be okay!" I tried to comfort my lip quivering father. My mom shook her head at him and chuckled lightly.
"But, my princess is going all across the continent and we won't even see you anymore," he persisted on trying to convince me to stay.
"Daddy," I began and from the corner of my eye see my brother, Liam, roll his eyes. I grin at him, he knows whatever I'm trying is definitely going to work. "I want to pursue my dreams and major in business. I've already done three excellent years in Spain and now I'll finish my last year in Massachusetts. Besides, Liam already went off to Yale in Connecticut which is only hours away from me."
My dad has now recuperated his posture as the firm Alpha he is. Alpha Brandon Davis of the Nightwalker Pack. "I trust you because you're my eldest, it was a bit harder when the knucklehead of your brother went off. At least try to understand me. You've left to study abroad for three years after High School and now you're leaving again."
I sigh. "I just want to try new winds but I'll come back to take over the pack as soon as possible. A wolf can't be without her pack for too long." Dad brightens up a bit at the sound of me coming back. "There are still holidays and breaks."
He frowned. "What about money?"
"I'm doing an internship at a famous company over at Massachusetts. They'll pay me for every hour I do, besides I still have the account filled with money that you started saving for me since I was born, for when I left the nest temporarily." I roll my eyes at the last part. That was no joke. Precisely $40,000,000 was in the account. Like I said, since the day I was born he prepared everything for my well being.
"Okay. I've talked to all the packs in Massachusetts and they've accepted your presence over there. Remember that before you leave the state you need permission from the packs inhabiting the area you're going to. "
I rubbed my temple but smiled. "I know dad. I've learned from the best after all." the airport soon began to fill with rushed people. He seems to notice it too because his expression turns somber. I stand up on my tippy toes and kiss him on the cheek. He responds by pulling me in an embrace. When he doesn't let go mom pry's him off me. "Don't worry you still have Isabella." I motion to our youngest sister; she was in her last year of high school.
I hug mom gently and she kisses my forehead. "Facetime every day or else I'll think that you've been kidnapped or hurt." I laugh lightly and tears fall. We're both a sobbing mess before dad takes mom under his wing.
I step over to Liam who's pretending to act strong. "Are you gonna miss me?" I pout at him, making puppy dog eyes. "Gonna miss how your big sister bosses you around?"
He scowls but smiles. "You wish." We hug and his tough Alpha act drops as I fell his tears against my head.
I weave my way over to Isabella who jumps into my arms. "Who's going to be my mentor and give me good advice for high school life?" she sobs.
"This is the perfect time to branch out and create new friends! Lighten up." I ruffle her red hair. Out of the three of us, only Brandon got dad's eyes, hair, and features. I kiss her forehead and hand her over to mom's awaiting arms.
I depart from them crying. It was harder when I left for Spain. But now at least I'm still on the same continent. They all hug each other and wave furiously at me as I head to the gate. I blow one final kiss at them as I disappeared around the corner.

Massachusetts air feels cool against my skin. After hours of being cramped in the same spot on the plane, I was glad to be able to stretch my legs. I take off my sunglasses and place them on my head. My tan slim legs beam in the sunlight. It's mid-august around these parts.
I wait patiently on a bench until a man approaches me. "Alpha Victoria, follow me. I am James and I am in charge of helping you get to your apartment."
I smile remembering dad mentions something about James. "That's me. Let's go" he bows down respectfully and we both head over to a car.
"Um, do you happen to know where my car is?" I ask nervously. It was a red Nissan I had carried along everywhere with me.
He started up the car and commenced to drive. He noticed my unease. "Don't worry, it's parked right outside your apartment."
He only talked to me respectfully the entire time and I was getting annoyed, considering that he looked right about my age. "Do you attend Harvard?" I tried to turn the conversation casual.
"Yes, Alpha Victoria." He replied firmly like a robot and I huffed. He looked at me confused.
"Just call me Vicky," I say and he narrows his eyes at me. "You won't get punished. You seem like a nice guy and I don't like to force people to respect me. Respect is earned." I fold my arms over my chest, proving my point.
"Then just call me James, I'm sure we'll get along swell." I look over to a grinning James. "I'm a senior in college and have been attending Harvard for three years now, you?"
I grin as well. "I've studied abroad in Spain for three years and am studying my last year at Harvard."
"Don't worry, it's a great school. Sports are the best in there," he reassured me.
"I hope so"

"Here are is your schedule," James was placing a hand on a clipboard. We were in my apartment and he had to give me my schedule. "All advanced classes, pretty impressive."
"How about sports?" I asked eagerly and he laughed at me causing me to pout. I elbowed him in the shin lightly and he jumped.
"Okay, okay, sports have already started but you've made it in time to still join the teams." He pauses for a moment. "What sports do you want to play?"
"Volleyball, Tennis, Soccer, Archery, gymnastics, and Figure Skating," I respond instantly and his eyes widened.
"That's quite a bit," he chuckles and writes it all down on a piece of paper. "You've played before?"
"Yep, in Spain, it's required to have more than one sport and learn 10 languages." I sigh. "But I don't know how to cook."
"It's fine. Besides, you'll learn in the cooking class your in."
"Great! I'll definitely need it."
He glances at his buzzing phone. "Sorry, my mate Alexandra is calling" he gushes when he says her name. A pang of loneliness hits me but I push it away.
"Don't worry, go along. I'll be fine."
