Daniel’s POV
“Why did you decide to buy this place?”
I convinced her to go on a tour of the farm. At first, getting her to ride the horse was hard because she was scared. Also, it was her first time, and she didn’t trust me. But I assure her she has nothing to worry about because she is with me. Fortunately, she believed me.
“I told you I was getting ready for the future,” I said.
The weather helped me out because it was lovely. I bought the land with the money my grandfather gave me when I graduated from the Academy and my savings. No one knows I’ve bought a farm. Things that don’t make money don’t interest my family. And if they find out about this farm, it will cause my dad and me to fight again.
“So it’s just like this? A simple farm?” Russel asked
