A Guy Like Me

1736 Words

Ian The shifter king is sitting in my living room. His black suit and crisp white shirt, and those polished to perfection boots, seem like they cost more than my entire house. His hair is styled in a perfect way, not a single hair out of place. The air is filled with some spicy and just as expensive perfume which name I have probably never heard of because top shelf things like this never reach guys like me. As I lean against the bookshelf, I can’t help but feel awkward and uncomfortable in my own house, unsure of what to do or what to say for the first time in my life. My head is buzzing with a thousand questions but I have to ignore them as I try to keep my magic in check. It is running like a current all over me, making me fight to stay in the present and appear cool as I usually am.
