Victor I let him drag me out of the straw bed and back outside where the world seems just as normal as always. It is still early morning, the sun has barely come up in the sky and everything smells of forest summer flowers. The weed around the cabin is covered in morning dew and the fresh crisp air actually helps me clear my head a little. Ian turns to look at me through his shoulder, lifting a brow in question when I don’t move for a long moment. My eyes are taking in my surroundings like I am seeing them for the first time.
