After leaving Jameson and Savannah, I went back to Bethany’s cabin to meet up with my mum. She promised to take me shopping at the Eagle Moon Pack’s art supplies shop, and I planned to hold her to that promise.
When I got there, she was having a discussion with my Aunt Teagan about when we should head home. From the sounds of it, I would only have another day or so to spend time with my new friend, and that bummed me out a little.
As soon as my mum saw the look on my face, she knew I wasn’t happy about leaving, so she jumped to her feet and cheerfully asked, “Are you ready to go shopping?”
It was her way of trying to cheer me up, so I forced a smile onto my face and answered, “Yep! I’m ready whenever you are.”
“Let’s do this,” she enthusiastically responded
