He silently drove her home with a grim expression on his face. Just before stopping the car in front of her house, he gave her a suspicious look.
“Do you have a date tonight with your boyfriend?” Raven thought for a second, wondering if a family dinner was actually a date!
Seeing her thoughtful expression, Ralph grunted with disgust and parked his car.
“N-no,” said Raven, but he was already out of the car. Confused by his behavior, Raven climbed down too, wondering where was he going. To her dismay, he just locked his car and walked towards the front door.
“Are you going to stand and stare or ring the doorbell?” Raven came to her senses and came up to stand beside him. He rang the doorbell and her mom opened the door, paling and fumbling nervously at seeing Ralph with her daughter.
