Khloe "Take care." I told Caleb as we stopped in front of the elevator. It was already nine in the evening and he had to go home. Dinner was great. He cooked us beef steak and it was so good. The next day would be Monday. It meant the start of weekdays. And weekdays meant work. Caleb had to go home because he needed to report to his office the next day and manage his business. Not just him, but me as well. After the movie marathon earlier, we decided to have dinner, but he had to go. Holding both my hands as he faced me, he said, "Thank you." I stared at our entwined hands. His thumbs rubbed the back of mine. Looking up at him, I couldn't help but ask, "For?" "For last night and for today." "Oh." That was all I could say.
