Morning brings a new surprise for Ty. He did fall asleep, but his dreams were haunted and made no sense to him at all. Figuring them out right now is not going to happen, so he banishes the thoughts further back in his mind. He has other more important problems to figure out and dwelling on his dreams is not doable. He glances at the other sofa and he finds it empty. Devana is not there and the quiet of the place is astounding, since they’re in the middle of the city. ‘Where is everyone?’ He asks his dragon. ‘No idea, but you can try the kitchen.’ The beast answers grumpily and goes back to sleep. He hears a faint noise from the front door and he sits up to look over the back of the sofa. His back cracks and he winces at the sound it made. As comfortable as the sofa seems to be, sleeping
