Vesna gets to learn flying the hard way. Maybe it’s for the best this way, she thinks to herself. She got a few hours reprieve in the afternoon to get some work done and she called Allegra to tell her she will be working from home for a while. ‘I see now what you mean by work. I like it. The dresses you draw are amazing. Nothing like the things people around you wear every day.’ Istracsia tells her. ‘Thank you, dear. What do you think about Ty’s idea of flying at night?’ Vesna asks. ‘I can see just fine at night. Maybe we can go higher?’ Istracsia answers.
“Vesna?” Ty intrudes on her thoughts. “Do you think you could organise us some help for the trees? Lucio is a bear, but he’s not the youngest any more. And we need to get those out of the forest soon.”
