Mauro came alone that Saturday morning. He promised to come early and help get things labeled and presented, so here he is bright and early at seven.
“And I have good news, too.” He smiles wide as he steps out of his car.
“Do tell.” Vesna encourages him. “We need all the good news we can get.”
“I got a call from our music room patron. He wants to buy the harpsichord for his collection. And that means that we get to show it off in the museum at some point.” Mauro tells her. “Oh, and my boss wants a side table from the catalogue. If we could get it in a bundle with the other things?”
Vesna laughs amused at the veiled question. She likes the curator a lot, so she decides to invite him to breakfast with them. They will have to use every opportunity to talk and make some plans.
