She sits on the front porch, a tea cup in her hands. Sadness coming off of her in waves. She misses her brother and her home in Milano, she misses coffee and this herbal tea tastes like warm grass without a speck of sugar in it. She is bone tired after working all night to clean her cottage and she’s not even close to done. And she needs to gather firewood for the night, so she doesn’t freeze if she can get herself to sleep for a few hours. But most of all she misses the people, the sounds of the city, the laughter and crying and even traffic.
