The next morning…
"Mm…" Triana moaned, stretching her arms. When she inhaled, she perceived a pleasant floral aroma. She quickly opened her eyes and looked around, only to find multiple bouquets of colorful flowers adorning the room.
The white walls were festooned with a slew of red roses. Bouquets of tulips were taped to the corners of the sickbed. The sofa, coffee table, and even the bedside table were crammed with bunches of red roses.
Triana’s mouth hung open as she wondered who had sent these flowers. She picked up a bunch of red roses from the side table and peered at it. She noticed a small greeting card amidst the flowers.
