When Bruno left, Blaze dealt with the problems of the pack. He didn’t get time to go back and check on Triana. When he finally had time to return to his room, it was already dark. He found Triana by the French window with her back to the door.
Everything that had happened in the morning rushed into his mind. He felt a jolt in his chest when he noticed how silent she was. The revelation of her past made him realize that both of them had been betrayed by their close ones.
Blaze knew what it was like to be betrayed. After all, he had also gone through the same pain. However, he didn’t dwell on it and pulled his mind off of Alma. It was easy for him because Alma had broken the mate bond without hesitation. Then he found his second mate in Triana.
