The gentlemen whom they had met at dinner seemed only too eager to dance with her and Penelope and she knew by the expression on her sister’s face how happy she was. The garden was like a Fairyland, Alisa thought, as she walked in it with her partner, who was the older gentleman who had sat next to her at dinner.
