"Bastards," Jack said. "The dirty, murdering, torturing bastards." He tried to fight the anger that sought to take over from his rational mind. "Destroy this place," he said. "Tear it to the ground."
"Hassan, take fifteen men to the far side of the village, evict the gunsmiths, and destroy the workshops. If anybody shows fight, shoot them."
"Yes, sahib." Hassan understood Jack"s anger.
"You have three minutes to reach the far side, and we"ll start at this end." Those three minutes seemed to stretch to eternity before Jack gave the order to start work. By then the light had strengthened so he could see what he was doing.
