"So it has happened." Chamberlain stood on his knoll, scrutinising the valley through his binoculars. "Well, my tactics will not alter. As I said last night, we"ll hold here and let them come to us." He gestured to the pinnacle of the Eagles Nest that stood prominently between the British camp and the Guru Mountains. "We only sent a piquet there. I want it properly occupied and fortified."
