I walked, or more like did a slow run to the library in an attempt to get as far away as possible from the Prince, but each time I turned around I could still see him there, smug smile and all.
It’s like no matter how much faster I made my feet move, somehow he still reached me. It’s like being in a nightmare and your worst fear keeps following you everywhere. Is there no escape here?!

I almost had a heart attack as I jolted up from surprise when Xavier suddenly showed up out of nowhere. He had a wide smirk and was a total sight for sore eyes.
“Geez Louise, you almost gave me a heart attack.” I placed my hand over my chest where my heart beat fast from the shock.
“Sorry, no Louise’s here. There’s only me.” Xavier joked followed by a light chuckle.
