Chapter 10 Back to the Castle

Two days went by fast, the lake and the cabin were fun, they watched the sun set, the eagles fly high in the sky, the deer ran in played in the woods, the fish jumped in the water, they heard owls talk in the night, they were ready to go back home, Jordon put the bags in the trunk, he locked the cabin door, then they left, a few hours later in two stops at a gas station to get snacks in gas. They made it home, they stopped in the drive way turned off the car in went in, they both walked into the office to see about any calls or news, when they walked in they saw beta Ron and the new maid Tesha, Layla could tell she was nervous. What did she do already for her to be in here, just as she was thinking this, she saw Ron's arm going around her waist her eyes wide, she knew what was going on, but she wanted them to say it, "My king, may we speak," Logan turned to look at his beta, "Sure," Was there any trouble while we're gone," "No my king" his eyes turned to the maid, why is she in here," "What did she do?" Ron took a deep breath, I found her in my room the day you left," I smelled a strong scent" before he could finish, Jordon spoke up, "Long story short you found your mate," Ron chuckled, Yes sir" I found my mate." Layla cleared her throat, all eyes landed on her, "I think Tesha would be a good beta my beta," she shouldn't be a maid when she is betas Ron mate," she turned to Jordon, " Can we make this happen?" Logan nodded, "Of course and it is done," Tesha is Layla beta, Tesha bowed to the queen. Then nodded, " I'm sure Ron will show you everything you need to know and learn," "until then we are going to go for a run, they went out side into the woods, they had no need to get undress, they started to shift into there wolves, Layla into her all white wolf, Jordon in his all black wolf, they ran for awhile, until Layla smelled a strange smell, She mindlinked Jordon" someone is here in the woods with us" they shifted back to there human form, "Whoever you" are come out now!" They waited for a few minutes, until three people came out of the woods toward them,

"We came to worn you my king and queen," that madam is planning on over throwing you to take your crown," Who is this Madam" The madam. Is madam Penny," Layla let out a huge loud growl, that almost shook the ground, the wolves scared took steps back, she gave us a message to give you," she said reject the queen or get over thrown," Jordon laughed a harsh laugh, " That will be a hard negative on both," We are just delivering a message, we are going back to our pack, she paid us to come," Layla turned to the young woman that spoke," "You are free to go," But if you come back you shall die," "And you can tell dear ole Penny nice try," But no cigar" "You can also tell her, if she wants me gone do it her damn self, With that she turned and walked off, Logan stood there watching the others walk away in the other direction, then went after Layla, when he finally reached her, she was already close to the castle, he tried to grab her arm, She jerked away "Layla stop and look at me" she kept going not paying attention to him, she was thinking there had to be something between them, for this woman to act like this, he tried grabbing her again she turned growling, "Don't you growl at me Layla," " I'll growl at you anytime I feel like it, turning back around she went inside then up the stairs slamming the bedroom door shut, Jordon barged in, "what the hell is wrong with you!", "growling and slamming doors!!" She turned snarling at him,"my problem. With this woman," my problem is you" You will not tell me what went on with you and her," Why she thinks she can come in here and take control?" That is the problem ," Layla please calm down, nothing went on, she tried to sleep with me, she tried to get me to mark her, but I cought on to her tricks," We kissed once," And that's when I was drunk," growling loudly, ",So you told me from the beginning, nothing happened," But now you tell me you kissed when you was drunk, So you LIED TO ME!! Layla was jealous, and Logan knew it, Layla you have nothing to be jealous about. Turning around Jordon knew he should never have said that. She cornered him. In a corner, growling so loud it shook the windows, I Layla bliss rejects you Jordon black," she knew she was saying this out of anger, but she was pissed and what he said made her ever angrier, Jordon hazel eyes were huge, "What the hell Layla," No, No, No," I Jordon Black denies Layla bliss rejection," "You will not get rid of me that easy woman,"

He walked over to her, his hand slowly ran up and down her back, jerking away she didn't want to be touched. He tried again, she jerked away again. Then turned, her eyes were dark as night, he knew who it was right away it was Alexa, she tried to go back in but Layla wouldn't let her, "Alexa, please calm her tell her I need her," tell her I would be nothing without her in my life, please Layla come back," Alexa sighed as she spoke to Layla, you heard him," didn't you Layla?" "Yes I heard him" he made me so angry for saying I was jealous," well you were" we both know that," but he didn't have to say it," listen come back out, talk to him Layla," "Fine I'll come back out but it doesn't mean I have to play nice," Alexa chuckled,. As she closed her eyes and Layla came back, her sky blue eyes looked at Jordon, "if you ever say that I am ever jealous over another she wolf again, I will kick you where the sun don't shine and then I'll cut your pecker off," is that clear?" Logan listen to her, she would cut what off, holy s**t," he tried not to smirk but couldn't help it, " If you chop it off," How would you be able to use use it,?" Smirking back just as evil, Have you ever heard of toys my love," "You wouldn't?" ",Oh yes I would," smirking she walked over to her dresser, opened her draw and pulled out a tiny vibrator, he walked over and tried to grab it, but she was to fast, she placed it back and locked the top draw, "You do know I can just break the whole dresser right," " Yep but you won't or you will be sleeping on the couch tonight and for the rest of your life,"

"Yeah," "You wish" come on it's late," the sun is setting and we haven't eaten yet," let's go down stairs and eat, then we can come back up here in watch a movie until we fall asleep. Nodding they both walked down stairs steak in a stuff potatoes the potatoes was stuff with mushrooms, bacon bits, sour cream, in cheese, they both are in went upstairs to shower in then laid in bed to watch tv, the cuddled into each other's arms,

Penny POV

As the night went on she wanted so much to go to the castle, but her mom and dad was watching her like a hawk in the sky, she was pacing back in forth in her bedroom. She looked out the window. saw the young girl from the neighboring pack, " I only came to tell you that the queen said, "Nice try" "But no cigar," "Now that I gave you the message," I have one from my alpha," You. come near the rising sun pack grounds again," "you will die" With that the girl left, She heard Penny growl, she shook her head,"she had heard rumors about the queen, and if Penny doesn't stop, this will be her down fall, she walked back to her pack, "Did you tell her," Yes alpha I did," "But I'm not sure if she even heard me, "The alpha shook his head," Then she's on her own then," "Come child go rest"

Penny POV

I can't believe she had the nerve to tell me this, "Nice try," I'll nice try that bitch." Tomorrow is the third day, there is no way I'm going there, I will go on my terms. She growled one last time, as she jumped out the window, landing on all fours, she was in her wolf form, if she stepped out of her boundaries, she will be a rouge, well she will just take that chance, with out a glance of her now forgotten home, she ran as fast as she could,
