Chapter 13 moon goddess

Layla and Logan was upstairs in there room relaxing and watching tv, when Logan cell phone went off, he answered the phone, his expression went from serious to horror, " Don't worry my new friend," ,"we will both be there," We will find who did this," he ended the call, he looked over at Layla, "what is it?" "Is everything okay?" He could only shake his head no, then sighed getting up from bed, walking over to her side, "I'm going to tell you something," "then we're going to go to the purple moon pack,". Logan told her about the call, how they found penny and that she is now in a coma, he told her everything, by the time he was finish tears was coming down her face, "What monster would do this,?" "I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy," she got up and started to  pack for the four hour trip, when they were done packing, they told Ron and Tesha where they were going, and explained to them, to watch the castle, they nodded and bowed as they left, they got into the car in sped off, the drive was long, they sped past deer that was on the side of the road eating grass, Hawks was in the sky flying around. They only stopped for gas in drinks, then sped off once again, they had to turn on a weird path it seemed it was sort of a maze but it wasn't, all they could see was nothing but tress for miles, they finally got to a huge metal gate a guard was standing by it, he knew who they were, " my king my queen," Welcome to the purple moon pack," they nodded "Thank you" "will you let your alpha know we are here?" "Yes sir" he's been at the pack doctors with her since they brought her home," he won't leave her," suddenly the guards eyes clouded over for a few minutes, he was mind-linking the alpha, "Alpha* "The king and queen are here," "tell them to come inside," I'll meet them at the pack house" "Yes Alpha" his eyes cane back to a dark green color,

"He said he will meet you at the pack house," "Thank you" they drove through the gates, down a winding path that felt like it went on forever, they finally came to a clearing, there was a huge house it was like a mansion, they drove closer they could see alpha Darryl and many of the pack members, was standing around the pack house waiting for there arrival, they stopped in the drive way, turned the car off and got out, alpha Darryl, bowed to them, so did many of the pack members, king queen welcome to the purple moon pack, let me show you to your room while you are here. Two pack members came in got there bags, hope and Kelly, Darryl explained where they found her, and how they found her, " I'm not sure how she did it," But she howled, her wolf I'm guessing came out and howled as loud as she could, we found drag marks that lead back to the cave," "she was near death," I'm not even sure how she made it that far," "We couldn't find who did this, but if he ever comes back, we will kill him," Logan looked at him, something was off, "Darryl," is Penny your mate?" He sighed in didn't say anything for a few minutes, then spoke, "Yes my king" "she is"" the moon goddess gave me a second chance mate," Penny stood by me when I was mourning the loss of my mate," I am going to stand by her," "She has told me what she tried to do to you," i almost turned her away. But she begged to join the pack," she said she was over trying to kill the queen," "So I gave her a chance," They nodded as they listened to him, " Did she tell you why she ran from her own pack?" "No she didn't," I never pressured her to tell me," my guess she didn't like the rules," But she never broke them here,

"Here is your room" it's the biggest one next to mine," they walked inside, looking around, it was like you could fit a house in there, a huge bed two night stands a huge Walk inn closest, there was a bathroom as well, Layla turned and saw two large windows she walked over and open the white curtains, then open the windows to let some air inside, both turned to alpha Darryl, " Can we go see Penny?" We would like to see the injuries that she has, Darryl nodded "Follow me" "But I warn you" there not a pretty ," when they got back to her, she was laying on a bed, her head propped up by pillows, IVs in her arm, purple,and  black bruises covered her whole body, some was turning the color of yellow, there was a huge bandage wrapped around her waist, "He broke three of her rips" her face was swollen by the beatings, "Layla had to turn away then look back at her, She leaned close to Penny ear whispering to her, " we will get him Penny" " We will get him and we will beat him while you watch, and we will leave the killing to you," This I promise you," I have no grudges" but a grudge on him" "Come back to us Penny we need you here with us" she stood back up, tears was coming down her face, she turned to Logan, as she shook her head,

No one deserves something like this," " she might had tried to kill me, but she didn't deserve this," her hand touches Penny's hand, she tried to mind link her, Penny if you can hear me. You have a family waiting for you," your mother and father loves you" "Darryl needs you," but she received nothing back," sighing she stood by her mate, doctor Lisa came in, and checked all the machines, wrote a few things on a clip board, then looked up at them all, her eyes went wide, she didn't realize the queen in king was here. She hurried to bow to them, "I'm sorry" I didn't know you was already here my Lord," my lady" "it is alright" no need for apologies," she nodded" How long has she been like this?" "She's been like this for a few days now, every now in then the machines go crazy," it's like she's going through it all over again," she will need to want to wake up." They all turned to look at Penny,

Penny POV

I felt like there was no end of the darkness, I knew I needed to find my way out, but where," I tried to scream but no sound would come out, I heard someone whispering, they want me to heal, "Heal? "What's wrong with me?" What happened?" Suddenly the darkness faded, she was in a green meadow, trees in flowers everywhere, she walked further in the meadow, she saw a beautiful woman with long silver hair sitting by a river, the woman turned to look at her, she smiled, " I'm glad you could make it out of the darkness" she was a little bit confused, "come here child" Come sit beside me" she walked over to where she was sitting and set down, "i am the moon goddess," You have been put through something terrible and horrible," you are in a coma" "what" "why"? The moon goddess told her everything that had happen to her, Penny looked in shock, the moon goddess continued, you will have a choice. You can go back in be with your mate, the alpha Darryl" or you can come with me," "But Darryl isn't my mate, he's in mourning," "he was in mourning, you are his second chance mate" He hasn't left your side since you been in the coma," if you decide to wake up," you will go through stages, you will remember everything, Darryl will help you so will the king and queen, but you won't let them at first.

Penny sighed, " I'm scared" "I know you are," "but you will be ok" Penny thought for awhile, she closes  her eyes then opened them. I've made my decision," I know you have" But I couldn't tell you," you had to make your own mind up" ",will I see you again moon goddess?" All you need to do is call me child" I'll be in your dreams" she hugged her, "Now it's time for you to wake up" she suddenly heard loud beeping, she was hurting all over, she suddenly opened her eyes, then shut them again due to the brightness,she heard someone say shut the blinds and turn down the lights, she heard Darryl's voice, "you can open your eyes now" she opened them slowly once again, she saw the queen and king, she was scared, she turned to Darryl, why was he here, she started to remember everything that had happened to her, she started screaming. Layla ran to her, to try in hold her. She rocked her back in forth, "Penny",Penny", it's ok," "we are not going to hurt you," "neither will alpha Darryl I promise" she open her mouth but no words came out,. She remembered the rouge, he could return he could hurt her again, doctor Lisa came into the room, she checked her blood pressure, and checked her IVs, she turned to Penny, "Penny you been in a coma for three weeks, your bruises has faded, in your ribs are almost healed, you been through something horrible, but we are all here for you, Lisa tried to touch her, Penny started screaming, Lisa backed away, the only one she would let near her was Layla, Layla grabbed her and held her, "shhhh Penny" "she is only trying to help" "it's ok" she calmed down just a little, Darryl was watching, he wished he could hold her. To tell her everything is going to be okay, he moved closer to her, "Penny" can I hold you?" She started to cry, she was thinking he is only going to hurt her," she kept shaking  her head no, he spoke again softly, "Penny" you are my second chance mate," " I'm not going to hurt you," she was shaking so bad, Layla tried to hold her, she felt Penny go limp, she blacked out, Lisa came over to her to make sure she is ok, she looked at the group, "She's okay" she just passed out, " I'll keep her here for a few more days" then she can go home," "but she has a long ways to go, you need to take things real slow"

Darryl sighed, Logan and Layla looked at Lisa, is there other rooms here, we are not leaving until she can go home, and until we find that rouge that did this, Lisa nodded "you can stay in the room next to this one", alpha Darryl do you need one as well" he shook his head, "I'm not going anywhere, Lisa nodded
