I was asleep, resting peacefully for the first time since being here when the sudden sound of someone screaming at the top of my voice woke me up with a startle. This deadly scream startled me so badly that I jumped into a sitting position, panicking as I looked around, but there was nothing there that could have made such a noise.
I saw that Sebastian was still sound asleep at some distance from my side and I was very surprised to see him still sleeping. The sound that entered my ears was terrifying and it sounded like a woman screaming, it was so loud that it would have woken anyone up and yet neither Sebastian or the others sleeping in the hut were awake. I got up from the ground and decided to take a look around.
