School.
God, the word makes me wanna kill someone -- specifically myself.
I slowly walked up the stairs of Metropolitan. Yoongi dropped me off today, so, of course, I'm, like, twenty minutes early.
Maybe I can hide in the bathroom until the bell rings.
Or not...
As I turned down the hall towards the restroom, I saw the janitor walking into it.
Lovely.
I turned around and saw that Mr. Park's door is open.
Damn you, Yoongi.
I walked down the hall, to room 306. I quietly walked in. Jimin is at his desk grading papers.
"Miss me already, Ms. Mae?" Jimin asked me, not looking up from his desk.
I scoffed. "Not even in a million years, Mr. Park," I lied.
"Close the door, please," he told me, but he didn't look up at me.
I squinted as I looked at him, then I did as he said. I pushed the door shut.
I slowly made my way to my seat in front of his desk, not looking at him again.
"If you didn't miss me, then why are you here twenty minutes early?" Jimin looked up at me. He's wearing his round glasses.
"M-My brother left too early," I stuttered as I sat down. "Trust me, if I had any say in it, I would rather come twenty minutes late."
Jimin stared at me. "Well, Ms. Mae, anything could happen in twenty minutes," he smirked.
I immediately looked down at my desk. "Shut up," I mumbled. I shook my head as my cheeks heated up.
"Did you bring your homework that you did over the weekend?" Jimin asked, changing the subject.
I took a deep breath as I nodded. "Yeah," I replied. I took my backpack off as I stood up.
Of course, Jimin watched my every move.
I sat backpack on my desk, then I opened it. I pulled my paper out, then I slowly approached his desk.
"Here," I stopped beside him.
Jimin took it from me, then he went over the paper again.
After several long, excruciating minutes of him staring at the paper -- clearly stalling -- he finally wrote A+ on the front and handed it back to me.
"Good job, Asha," Jimin said, his tongue grazed his bottom lip as he looked up at me. "I'll bet that you're even better at doing other, much more intense things, wouldn't you agree?"
"Ew," I took several steps back. "Creep," I walked back to my desk.
As soon as I sat down, my phone started vibrating. I pulled it out to find that Neri's calling me.
As soon as I answered the phone, Neri spoke. "Asha! Finally! Where have you been?" she asked.
"Oh, spending some time with my brother and his friends," I replied, rolling my eyes.
"Oh! Are any of them cute?" Neri asked.
I looked at Jimin as he read a paper on his desk, then he started writing on it.
"I mean, I saw most of them without shirts on," I told her.
Neri started giggling. "Are you coming to school? I'm almost to Mr. Park's room."
"Already here," I replied.
"Eek! Okay! Be there in a second!" Neri screeched, then she hung up. As soon as she said that, I heard the door open behind me. "Asha-ah! Spill the tea!" Neri cheerfully yelled as she sat beside me. "Tell me about your brother's hot friends!"
I facepalmed myself.
Can she be any louder?
I glanced to Mr. Park as he graded more papers.
Obviously, he's listening.
Who wouldn't be listening after the loud mouth announced what we're talking about?
"Asha?" Neri tapped my shoulder.
I looked over at her. "Hmm?"
"You zoned out there," Neri said. She frowned as she rested her chin on her hand. "I wish Jackson liked me," she told me.
"Why wouldn't he like you?" I asked.
Neri dramatically sighed. "I tried to kiss him...but he told me that he liked someone else...and that someone else is you."
Sadness washed over me as I looked at her. "No," I breathlessly said.
"Yes," Neri sighed again. "He told me."
"Neri," I paused, "trust me, he's yours. Jackson will lose interest once he sees that I'm not interested. Besides, I already like someone," I told her.
Well, kinda.
Is it bad that I think I'm starting to crush on my teacher?
"Oh! Tell me who!" Neri got a little too excited.
I blankly stared at her.
Who shall be my fake crush?
I mean, I'm sure I could tell her it's Mr. Park, but it'll be really bad if she finds out that he lives across the hall from me.
More students piled into the classroom as the bell rang.
I shrugged. "Guess," I told her.
Neri giggled. She held her hand over her mouth, which blocked Jimin from seeing her. She pointed in his direction and mouthed the words 'Mr. Park.'
I rolled my eyes as I looked at Jimin, who is now standing in front of his desk with his hands behind his back. He's wearing a white shirt, and a red tie to match his red hair.
Jimin glanced between Neri and I, and when he caught me staring, a small smile started to form on his face.
How can he be so annoying and gorgeous at the same time?

"Am I the only one you ever give detention to?" I asked Jimin as I walked into his classroom for detention.
Jimin is standing behind his desk. I walked to my seat and sat down, then Jimin walked by me.
As I glanced over my shoulder, I saw him close the door and lock it. I swallowed hard as I looked straight again.
Jimin walked back to his desk, then he took a chair from beside it and placed it in front of my desk. He sat down.
"Let's talk," he said.
I stared at him as he rested his arms on my desk. "About?" I questioned.
"You," Jimin playfully tilted his head. "Me."
I lowered my eyebrows. "What about us?"
Jimin smiled as he scanned my face. "Do you like me, Asha?"
I scoffed. "Gross," I blurted out.
Jimin lightly smiled. "Do you not think I'm attractive? Are you not attracted to me, Asha?"
I stared at him for a moment.
God, he's so annoying.
"Mr. Park," I paused, "you are so not attractive to me. You're annoying, that's what you are," I lied through my freaking teeth, and he knew it.
"You know, I think you're lying to me," Jimin said. Jimin rested his chin on the palm of his hand as he stared at me with big eyes. "Do you want to know something?"
I rolled my eyes. "What?"
"I think you're very attractive," he told me, a smirk formed on his face.
My face heated up as I shook my head. "Do you get off on making me uncomfortable, Mr. Park?"
Jimin lightly shrugged. "What ever do you mean, Ms. Mae?" he played dumb.
"You know exactly what I mean," I replied.
Jimin shook his head as his hand fell from his chin. "Tell me, I need to hear you say it."
I tapped the desk with my nails as Jimin and I stared at each other. "Why do I need to say it when you know exactly what I'm talking about?" I asked him.
Jimin smiled. "No, I'm genuinely clueless," he lied. He motioned for me to speak.
"You've been targeting me since day one," I said. "You have a freaky need to make me awkward. It's rude."
Jimin's smile slipped from his face. "Oh?" he rose an eyebrow.
I nodded. "Yeah."
"You know, if you wanted me to stop, you would have told me to by now," Jimin told me. "All you have to do is tell me."
"Right," I scoffed as I looked at the window across the room.
"I'm serious," Jimin said.
I looked back at him, unsure if he's actually being serious or if he's just playing with me.
Only one way to find out.
"Please, stop."
Jimin smiled as he nodded. "Okay," he stood up. "You can go home, Ms. Mae. I have no reason to keep you here," he said as he put the chair back beside his desk.
I lowered my eyebrows as I stared at his back.
Hmm...what's he playing?
