Mae Asha • October 13, 2018 1:01 PM "How's school, Asha?" Yoongi asked me as he stopped in front of the counter. I looked up from my chemistry homework. "It's awful," I whined. "Oh?" Yoongi rose an eyebrow. "Yeah, you know, my chemistry teacher is a total d**k," I looked down at my homework just as Jimin sat beside me. "Oh, chemistry teachers are the absolute worst," Jimin sarcastically said. I looked over at Jimin and gave him a death glare. "Jimin, help my sister with her homework, please," Yoongi said just before he walked away. "I don't need help, Oppa!" I yelled as he walked out of the kitchen. Jimin looked at me. "Oppa? Why do you only call him that?" Jimin asked. I looked at Jimin. "Because I don't like you, Mr. Park," I said. "It's Jimin, Asha. I thought we went over this," Jimin pulled my paper away from me. "I already finished it, Jimin," I told him. I tried to take my paper away from him, but he stood up and quickly walked around the counter. He stood in front of me, on the other side of the counter I'm sitting at, and he went over my homework. "Good job," Jimin said as he flipped the page. He went over the back of it, then he nodded. "You must really like chemistry, or is it the teacher you like?" he asked as he looked at me. My face became hot as soon as he said the words. God, now he's gonna think I like him because he thinks I'm blushing. Jimin smiled. "I believe it's the latter one." "In your dreams, Mr. Park," I rolled my eyes. Jimin slid my homework over to me. "I finished the first two of your books," he told me. "And?" I rose an eyebrow. "You're like...an evil genius," Jimin smiled. "You literally created an entire universe, unique characters, heroes, villains, all by yourself. That plot twist with Darius King was, like, super intense." "So, you like them?" I asked. Jimin nodded. "Yes. I started the third one earlier this morning," he said. "You should look into getting them published." I laughed. "There's no way anyone would bother reading them," I said. I stood up, then I walked around the counter and got my bottle of water behind Jimin, then I turned to face him. Jimin rose an eyebrow as he stared at me. "I am." "Yeah, because you have some weird fetish to make me uncomfortable," I said. "And, plus, I'm only a junior in high school; no one will publish my books." "I know a guy who works for a book publishing company," Jimin said. "I can convince him to give you a shot." I smiled. "Really?" I asked. Jimin nodded. And here's where my life ended. I hugged him. I freaking hugged him. Without thinking, I hugged this evil, evil man. Once I realized what I was doing, I immediately backed up. I froze as I stared at his chest. Jimin didn't move, either. "Oh, my God," I mumbled. Jimin stepped closer to me. "I've got you saying that already, only after a hug. Imagine how you'll be when I'm f*****g you," he smirked, then he walked by me. Oh, my God. Die, demon. God, what is wrong with that man? I sat down at the counter in the kitchen again. I'm super embarrassed, and Jimin probably thinks I'm a freak for hugging him. It was an accident, okay? "You're Asha, right?" someone asked from behind me. "I'm dead, that's what I am," I replied as I glanced back. The boy from earlier is standing behind me, he has brown hair. "You're Jungkook, right?" Jungkook nodded. "Yes, I am. You're...way prettier than I imagined," he smiled, which caused my heart to flutter. Oh, he's so cute. My eyes widened and my cheeks heated up. "Did you think I was going to be ugly like Yoongi?" I joked. Jungkook nervously laughed. "N-N-No, I thought you were going to be pretty, but-." "Kook, stop flirting with my sister," Yoongi flatly said as he walked into the kitchen. Yoongi crossed his arms. "No one is allowed to even look at her the wrong way." Oh, big brother, if only you knew. "But-But I wasn't!" Jungkook defended himself. "I was complimenting her!" "Shoo," Yoongi motioned for him to leave. Jungkook looked at me and gave me a small smile, then he turned and walked by Yoongi. "You're so mean, Min Yoongi," I said. "He's too old for you," Yoongi said. "How old is he?" "That doesn't matter! What matters is, none of my friends need to touch you. At least I don't have to worry about Jimin," Yoongi shook his head as he crossed his arms. My face went blank. Yoongi, Jimin is literally the only one you need to worry about. That's what I want to say to my big brother, but what came out was entirely different. "Yoongi, if I want to be with one of your gorgeous friends, I will." Yoongi's eyes widened. "No!" "Yes," I said. "I already have my eye on one." "You just met them!" "So? Love at first sight," I smiled. This weekend might not be that bad. After all, I get to tease the hell out of my brother by flirting with his friends. ••• A/N: Thank you for reading.
