21 My finger shakes as I press the buzzer button of Jasper’s condo. “Banks,” I murmur to myself. How did I ever end up here? I have a Toys “R” Us bag and a bag of groceries to cook dinner, and I’m perching a tray of Starbucks coffee precariously in my other hand. What I should have is a drug store bag filled with condoms and a case of beer, and dinner shouldn’t even be on my mind. “Lennon!” Brady screams through the speaker and the door buzzes and unlocks.
