Chapter 6When his phone rang Monday morning, Jett’s heart leaped a little as he reached for it. Yes, it had only been twenty-four hours since he’d said goodbye to Trev, but they’d exchanged numbers and vague promises about calling later, so there was every chance in the world that Trev had broken first and made the initial move after what had turned out to be a pretty amazing weekend. His hope crashed back to earth when he saw Aubrey’s name on the screen. “It’s a little early for you, isn’t it?” he said when he answered. “I wanted to catch you before you got too busy.
