Sari’s POV
The breakfast turned super awkward after that. There was a pin drop silence except of the cutleries.
My legs and fingers got restless as I kept wondering about the consequences. Adrian would be furious and I am not ready to take the drama that’s about to come.
“Wow!” My monologue disrupted hearing it as I snapped my head in Thomas direction.
He was baffled about something but had a prominent smile.
“You are… a mother?” He muttered more to himself but then lifted his eyes to stare back at me.
I felt my cheeks blush due to it. There was this thing about it that seemed he was highly pleased to know this.
His eyes twinkled with an unknown emotion and I had to turn away from his gaze.
