Tan’s POV
I glanced towards my right and saw Adrian sitting there with his head in his hands. To my left, Leo was barking through his phone looking a disastrous sight.
I sighed knowing we weren’t leading anywhere.
Walking up to the wide glass window, I stared down the city. It’s already midnight and we have no f*****g clue where they are.
Leo has given us some base addresses and we did send our men to search. However, two were empty and the three were still remaining to be checked.
Thomas has many such hidden bases and that’s the freaking thing.
What if we couldn’t ever find them?
What if he does something that is unbearable?
What if we are too late?
I closed my eyes shut—the lighted city disappeared and the scared face of Sari formed in the back of my retina.
