Theo had a faraway look on his face as he stared at the retreating car of Mr. Martin. His arm that was wrapped around my shoulder tightened. I know he wanted to leave with Adrian. He wouldn’t say but is always protective of Sari and that was one of the reasons why I felt him attractive.
Men who can protect their sisters are very protective of their wives as well.
“If you want to go to find her then just go. I am fine, I promise.” I smiled at him and his face turned towards me.
He had a shocked look before he masked it.
Theo gave an uptight smile and shook his head (with half a heart, I know it).
“I can’t leave you alone. Adrian is a very powerful man. He has security and what not but I can’t risk your safety.” He said with no emotion.
