PENELOPE'S POV
I froze and my heart and ears tingled. My ear lope iced and pricked. My eyes closed and I took in a lot of air. With my eyes closed, I slowly turned to face reckoning.
"Joyce!?" I let slip surprised. She steamed at me with a stern look. She shrugged when I called her name.
