Ezekiel’s pov
I was nervous about showing the girls the depths of the Underworld, I didn’t even like it much down there, and they were still so much younger than me, Regina isn’t even quite 18 yet. I was surprised how well they took to it.
I think I forget at times how strong they are. They have both been through a lot. Unfortunately, in Lilith’s case, that is mostly because of me. They were the most relaxed around me than they had been previously asking plenty of questions.
Even though I was mortified about licking my mate, it seems to have broken the ice. He spent ages laughing at me expense, not even caring that it was all his fault in the first place. It was a bonus that I heard her laugh, I haven’t heard that sound much in years.
