CHAPTER 19: DAMAGE
Killian walked me to the cafeteria, which he normally doesn’t but I really didn’t mind; his company was a calming presence and after only a month and a bit of knowing Killian it had become comforting to have him around. When we parted ways I was admittedly a little nervous, after all I didn’t know if the others knew about what happened Friday, I don’t know what Julien would have told them after I disappeared so suddenly.
As I approached the table we normally sat at I noticed that only Kris and Jaxon were there right now so I sat across from them and greeted them, trying not to sound nervous.
