Roger's Point of View
Beta Aaron and I had an early morning training session today and my body ached. I could hardly move. He doesn't take it easy on anyone, especially me. Beta is confident that I will be able to become an elite fighter, but I am not so sure.
Now he has tasked me with researching latent magic use in other realms. An easy task or so I thought. He brought me to this massive library. Shelves with books 12 feet high. Rows and rows of stand-alone bookshelves filled to the brim. Not a computer in sight.
I groaned internally. This was going to take forever. Ever the professional, I thanked Beta Aaron as he left the room. The old lady responsible for the library sits me down at a table and drops a massive book in front of me. The thing must have at least a thousand pages.
