Bella pov My heavy eyelids blinked open in soft, but heavy flutters. When I was finally able to make out my surroundings, there was a thick fog on the outer edges of my vision. I’m dreaming. I recognized the soft pink rug, shaped like a flower, that I’m sitting on in the center of the room. There’s a few dolls, clothes and plastic makeup scattered around the floor. Thin sheets of paper with messy finger painted images of the forest, my family, and animals are taped onto the white walls. I’m in my old bedroom. I’m home. I look all around me, but there’s no one here with me. Then I hear small light footsteps arriving at my door, but I stay seated.
